Crystal Lake Farm in Gray Maine is home to our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program. We have licensed mental health 
​practitioners and certified Equine Specialist who are exited to help people realize their potential and live their dreams. 

EAP is particularly effective for those who feel "stuck" in traditional therapy, or for whom traditional therapy is not effective or appropriate. It is an experiential modality, focused on relating to the horse and to the environment. At IEAP we believe that healing occurs in relationships. We base our sessions and our work on contact between client and horse, and provide an environment that invites this to unfold.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) offers significant results in a shorter period of time due to the experiential nature of interacting with horses.

Pricing/payment options:
A standard individual 60 min session is $130. We accept a variety of payment types, including MaineCare. Please contact our office to speak to someone who can answer your questions.
We accept many private insurance plans. For private insurance that we do not accept, we provide you with the necessary paperwork to be reimbursed by your insurance company.
